In our office, when providing legal services in relation to disputes brought by our clients, the factual background of the matter is first obtained in detail, and the strengths and weaknesses of the existing legal position are set out objectively. With due regard to the benefit-to-cost ratio, clients are advised against initiating litigation in circumstances where the prospects are unfavourable. Comprehensive information is provided regarding the potential risks that may arise throughout the legal process. In cases where initiating legal proceedings is deemed necessary, clients are informed at the outset about the expected duration of the proceedings, the anticipated expenses, and the attorney’s fees associated with the process.
DILIGENCE
In all of our work, services are rendered in strict compliance with international ethical standards. Legislative developments are continuously monitored through the use of emerging technologies, and where necessary, legal opinions are prepared with input from specialist consultants and academic scholars. Current jurisprudence is systematically followed. Clients are provided with ongoing updates regarding their disputes, and at regular intervals, or whenever required, meetings are held in person, by telephone, or through other communication channels depending on the client’s preference. In urgent situations, communication lines are kept open at all times in order to minimise any potential loss of rights.
TRUST
The potential courses of action arising from the legal dispute are identified with precision, and our clients are informed in detail regarding each possibility. Taking into account the balance of benefit, cost and risk, effective and expeditious legal avenues are proposed. Upon request, continuous advisory services are provided to eliminate risks that may lead to future disputes, thereby delivering preventive and protective legal counsel. Clients are also informed at the outset about the expenses and fees required for litigation and enforcement proceedings. In all litigation and enforcement matters handled by our office, the fees payable to us by our clients are determined in accordance with the Minimum Recommended Fee Schedule issued by the Mersin Bar Association that is in force at the relevant time.
CONFIDENTIALITY
In accordance with Professional Conduct Rules and Ethical Standards, all information and documents provided by our clients are deemed confidential and are kept strictly confidential as part of our professional responsibility. The confidentiality undertaking given within the scope of the Attorney–Client privilege also extends to the client’s immediate family members. Unless expressly instructed otherwise by the client, no information or documents provided to us shall be disclosed to any individual or institution.
