CAN LAW & CONSULTANCY
Atty. & Mediator Yılmaz Can
He is a lawyer and expert mediator with over a decade of experience in Civil Law and Criminal Law.
He began his law education at Near East University and continued his studies at Çağ University Faculty of Law on a scholarship. He graduated with distinction, winning first prize in the Ord. Prof. Dr. Hıfzı Veldet Velidedeoğlu 12th National Moot Court Competition organized by ELSA (European Young Lawyers Association).
In 2010, he was selected for the Study of the United States Institute program organized by the US Department of State, received Intercultural Leadership and Entrepreneurship Training in Texas, Illinois and Washington, D.C., and studied at the University of Texas with full scholarship.
He supported many institutions and non-governmental organizations working to protect the rights of disadvantaged groups such as women and children, and carried out legal work in projects funded by the United Nations.
Between 2012 and 2023, he worked as a lawyer for the Professional Music Associations operating in Turkey in the Eastern Mediterranean Region and worked in the field of Intellectual Property Law and Criminal Law.
He speaks English fluently and has been working as a Legal Consultant for a private company operating internationally since 2022. Provides legal consultancy services to many companies on Corporate Law and International Trade Law.
In 2023, he was appointed as an Expert Mediator in Labor Law and Commercial Law by the Ministry of Justice.
As a lawyer registered with the Mersin Bar Association, he provides legal consultancy and attorney services to individuals and companies both in Turkey and in different countries around the World, and contributes to out-of-court resolution of disputes as an Expert Mediator affiliated with the Ministry of Justice.
His career reflects a dedication to bridging legal expertise with community impact and international collaboration
